Leaf:
California green and red leaf prices are up this week with growers reporting light supplies. Look for price to continue to go up until after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. In stock “High Yield” 24ct California Sno Boy label.
TOMATOES:
Florida tomatoes are now in stock; supply is tight, quality is good, and price is high. We could see a market adjustment in the next couple of weeks but will not see any significant price drop until the New Year when the Mexican season begins. Cherry tomato supply is good again this week and price is down slightly while grape and roma prices remain high.
BROCCOLI/CAULIFLOWER:
Broccoli: Supply is good and price seems to be on the way down but this could turn around quickly if demand picks up which is expected going into the upcoming U.S. holiday. In stock 14ct bunches and 20# crowns both “Premium” Sno Boy label from California.
Cauliflower: Price has dropped as growers lower their prices to help encourage sales. Supply is fair-good and growers are warning that if demand kicks in prices will go back up. In stock is 9ct(large) and 16ct.
ONIONS:
Market is stable this week but growers are quoting higher prices for next week as they feel demand will be better next week due to the U.S. holiday. Premium red and yellow jumbo onions in stock. Also a good variety of processed onions are available. “Let us do the crying for you”.

PEPPERS:
Green pepper market continues to be tight and prices are high. We are expecting some relief for next week as growers are reporting better supplies coming.
Red, yellow and orange greenhouse peppers are available again this week. Growers are saying supplies are getting tighter but are so far holding off raising the prices in an attempt to keep supply moving.
POTATOES:
Washington russet baker potato prices are stable this week with indications that it may go up as demand picks up. Local Kennebec supply and quality continues to be good with reds and yukons now coming from the Lower mainland.
CITRUS:
Oranges: Navels are now in stock, sugar and appearance are good and price is up to start but should come down soon. Crop forecast looks well this season with crop heavy on the larger (56ct) size. We still have a limited supply of Valencia’s in stock this week 138, 113, and 88ct. Navels in stock; 138, 113, 88, and 56ct. Chinese mandarins are available. Ask your rep for details.
Lemons: Quality is good and price has come down slightly with the best deal being on the 165ct.
MELONS:
Cantaloupe prices are way up this week due to very limited supply and fair demand, market is predicted to be high for the next few weeks.
Honeydew price is also up but not nearly as much as the cantaloupe market. continue to get better.
Watermelon seedless price is stable this week and is the best value of the melons. Look for price to go up as more demand will be put on watermelon with the high cantaloupe market.
BERRIES:
Southern California strawberries are now available, but supply is very tight, quality is only fair, and price has almost doubled from last week. If you must have strawberries keep stock levels low and just buy what you need when you need them as strawberries are just not lasting anymore than a couple of days.
